Unpacks the utility CPQY2K.EXE, which checks to see if a Compaq Deskpro or Prolinea is capable of addressing the Year 2000 rollover. If not, the utility notifies the user of the appropriate Softpaq number to obtain to upgrade the System ROM.
This utility eliminates the need for a user to run Setup to determine the ROM date and then look up the required SoftPaq number in the White Paper.
This utility does not take the place of other "Year 2000 Ready" programs that manually manipulate the time and date to verify if the computer is Year 2000 Ready or not.
